You can't really answer the question without knowin' what kinda reel you'll use - spinnning or baitcasting or.... It's like askin what the best golf club in the bag is all around. I've got 16 rods - 9 baitcasting, 7 spinning. I'm sure some of the guys readin your question have 20 or more, all for very specific uses.
