Default WD-40

Does WD-40 actually work on live or artificial baits?

somebody posted here that somebody used it on live bait..i don't use live bait except when i ice fish and i do spray it on my jigging spoons then.
i also use it on my soft plastics and anyplace else i think might need it.
i do not use it as an attractant but more as a cover up for odors fish may find offensive.
and bASSmaster1 i don't think your serious.just another kid playing games...have fun.

I watched a guy spray WD-40 on live minnows and proceed to load the boat with crappie one time. Wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes.

nope....u didn't tom.....that sounds so damn ridiculous though....how can a frickin lubricator smell good to fish? and even if it isn't an attractant....iwould way more be a repellant for how bad it smells.....if i remember it smelling bad that is....haven't used it since i was like 10 to kill slugs on the driveway

i have heard that it works.apparently it has shark oil in it.you have to be really unenvironmental in your thinking to put more pollution in the water.
