Reel Magic
I've been using Reel Magic for a while on my line while fishing it is a great product and helps in casting and reduces line memory but I am afraid the fish can smell this product. Does anyone else use it and if so do you have problems with it?

Re: Reel Magic
It's made by Blakemore there is a web site on the bottle
www.blakemore-lure.com It works great for longer smoother casts and to reduce line memory but I still am unsure about the scent. |

Re: Reel Magic
I use it all the time and have noticed no affects on the fish refusing my lure. Â*I love this stuff. Â*I spray all my spools before I leave for the lake in the mornings and by the time I get there it has soaked down between the line and coated it well. Â*That way when I get to the lake I'm ready to fish right away.
Scott P.S. Â*I just bought two more cans this morning. Â* ;D |

I use it all the time with no problems that I've seen.
Burnzy-Reel Magic is a pure silicone (I think) spray you can spray on your line that helps soften it and reduce line menory. It also protects it from UV rays. |

Re: Reel Magic
I have used it on spin erbait and jig skirts to keep em livley, and have not noticed a difference in strikes.I don't believe the fish smells it when it is dry.

Re: Reel Magic
You can save money by buying a can of silicone spray at a hardware store or electrical shop. I use it alot and it seems to work just like the reel magic I bought to compare it to. P N J

Re: Reel Magic
I've been using Armor All......several times a season I run my line out and then wind it back on the reel through a little pinched patch of cloth soaked with it. Cleans and lubricates as well as protects from the sun. As I use it on other things as well, I buy it by the bulk and save a lot that way......by using a manual pump spray bottle, no waste.

Mac, I'm not familiar with the contents of Armor All, does it contain, ail based chemicals, or is it biodegradable? Sounds like a good idea, just wanting to know if it's enviro friendly. Lizards |
