Re: Color ?
In clear water you want to use natural colors like watermelon, watermelon red and green pumpkin for soft plastics, white for spinnerbaits and buzzbaits, and shad or crawfish colors for crankbaits.
Here is a great site for someone just getting started: http://www.bassresource.com/beginner/beginner.html |

Re: Color ?
Like they said. Natural colors. I used a watermelon on a texas rig last weekend in my lake up north. its a clear lake. the fish loved the worm.

''your lucky cause if 02 was here he wouldn't help out ever''
hey burnkittys....shut up......you know nothing!!! and dont say things that arnt true....look at the number of posts i have...i am sure those are from ''helping people out'' instead of talking about other things and not helping people out.........(its kinda hard to take you seriously with a name like that) zac_p, you are new to bass fishing and there are some things to be learned....first of all, there are no ''best'' anything in bass fishing...what may work for your clear water lake one day may not work the next in another lake..........but in clear water i narrow my colors down to natural colors......and colors that can be used in both clear and murky are black, bubblegum, redshad, junebug, and more......just find what the fish want....then fish it 8) |
