Default Good Question

OK so the board is getting kinda stale so I have a question to ask.

Everyone know that salmon go back to the spot they were hatched to lay eggs. Well the question is.... When the fish are born in a fish farm where do they go to spwan? Do they follow the rest of the fish? This got me thinking one day and I couldn't find an answer for it. If any one wants to take a stab at it be my guest. And if you got a bull s#@t theory thats ok too.

I would say that they follow the other fish and then go back to that spot next year. I'm just as lost as you are ROBZILLA.

no tester only a canadian would think of it. it has to do with those long boring winters they go through.

the sense of smell is inharited from the hen-female salmon. if she has the brain imprint of the river than the fry do also regaurdless of weather or not they were pen raised.

ummm stinky finger i would say that white is the color of frozen water. hence snow is frozen water. a migratory birds-duckss,gesse,doves,ect.. have an interal clock. they can tell when it is time to head north/south be the lenth of day.

oh please... you call these tough??

ok Zook.....

Since the beginning of time has the world been getting heavier or lighter?.

A team of Â*explorers are at the north pole and they find a man frozen in the ice. They dig him out and take him back to a lab. They do a whole bunch of study's on him and come to the conclusion he was the first man made by god. Yes they have found Adam. How do you know they knew it was Adam? ???

;D

remains the same weight -yah!!- even if they add a steel building all steel comes from mother earth. so in reality you are just moving the weight from one place and putting it in another -more usefull place-.

hmmmm could it be that his fig leaf was still attached or maybe he was hen picked to death. at the time of adam and eve thar were no bars so adam could not get away from being hen picked.-hey if you have a wife you know what i mean.

Ok, I work in a hatchery where salmon return to spawn, When the fry are placed in a holding tank, that is the first place they remember, so that is where they go. Another thing is the salmon dont return to the exact same spot or you would have 5 or 6 different fish trying to spawn in the same area, they actually spawn anywhere they can but generally in the same river near the spot they were hatched.

Always gotta be somebody tryin to figgure out if the chickin or the egg came first! But at least this one does have an answer. They go back to where they were released. Yeah like I put on my scuba gear & followed em HUH? I read this in a book. Plus I was at the hatchery up past Rosco some years and asked the "experts" there. That was the answer I was given. While I' m here; My name is Steve Gaichin , I here that Gary Munchkin is still alive! Hey Gary; If you see this ,Gimmy me an email mrmadjstyk@yahoo.com
