Well on vacation I thought about using baits I have'nt used in a while. First bait I never usually go to is a spinner bait, don't ask why cause I don't know. But all I can say is I should have started using them a little sooner. Man I was hooking them left right and center on them(with a twister tail trailer) In weed beds they were working great, weedless floats across mats very well. now I did notice a difference between the colorado and the willow blades. The willow blades were working the colorado weren't. I don't know why but that was the type for the day. didn't matter what color I had on it still was catching the fish. I also fished some Zilla's with great sucess caught a pig of a small mouth and a few big largies as well. also with my river fishing trip I was using jigs and tubes with great results. as you will see from the pic's I'll post later. never pass up a lure or bait in your box you haven't used in a while you regret it later!

Oh ya when the spinners were catching I went to wally world and bought all the 1/4oz spinners they had proved that the monkey also follows you on vacation as well! ;D

I know what you mean, the spinner bait bite here has been OFF all season, due to the crystal clear waters, no rain to murk it up etc.
That all changed tho last week after several downpours, the water has all kinds of color/stain to it now, and the spinner-dinner is what they are wanting to chase up here..enjoy it while you can.
I always try to use lures that have been sitting idle.
I try to tie on before I head out, It kinda forces ya to use it, usually there is a good reason why you bought it in the first place, its just a matter of time and location, sooner or later its bound to produce

I need to stock up more on spinnerbaits. I think I have 1 left. And it is one of those cheap ones.......

i really like using spinners i catch fish on them alll tha time....a white strike king red eye is a pretty good spinner

I got 8$ so I plan to go to wally world to get some more spinners and maybe a few flukes

I love my house....... 35 acres, 2 food plots, a shooting house, 2 treestands, a mud hole to get dirty in, and room to do anything I want................ The best thing is that our closest Â*neighbors are about a mile away from the house..... Our huntin' camp is right down the road so I can ride the 4 wheeler down there and shoot anytime I want....... Thats why I used it as a name

I like the Strike King Bleeding Red Eye spinnerbaits. Quality, durable lures that present well and entice hits.

I am going to get a few of those whenever I get a chance to go to the store................. Might pick up some bleeding bait tubes. I have heard a lot about them but never tried them

i use the 1 dollar spiners at wallmart may be put a twister tail to dress it up
