Thanks for info
Just a simple thanks primarily to REBBASSER and a few others who threw out some info on the senko and tiki stiks. Started using them, primarily used the colors recommended by a few of ya'll. Â*Have been catching a lot of fish. Primarily dead stickin on the bottom. Its very hot down here and haven't had a good bite. At least for me anyways. With all the yellin and bickering lately just figured a thank you for some good bass fishin info would be a welcome post.

Re: Thanks for info
Glad you got a few. I went out this morning and managed one dink and missed a good one, both hit Tikis. The one I caught was on a T-rigged baby bass/pearl swirl and the one I missed was on a green pumpkin wacky rigged. First time I really worked one rigged wacky. Most of the time I use a trick worm for wacky rigging.
Glad the info I gave you helped. It always makes me feel good when I am able to pass on some info that helps another fisherman be more successful. |

Re: Thanks for info
Wacky rigging is fishing a bait weightless but hooking it right in the middle:
Cast it out, let it settle, raise it up, let it settle, etc. Just watch your line. A lot of time you won't feel a hit-in fact I never have felt one-your ling just starts getting tight or moving off to the side. When that happens, set the hook! |

Re: Thanks for info
Rebbasser has a very good point.
A lot of times I'll glance at my dad's line and it will be mysteriously moving... I say "SET THE HOOK!" Only time that doesn't work is when fishing a current, that can be very tricky! |

Re: Thanks for info
Lone, I've had the same problem here at the Delta, with the incomming and out going tide. Making a pitch to a spot outside the tule line and watch my line start moving sideways. D'OH, moving water what do you do?
