Re: favorite name brand spinnerbait?
My favorite ones are the 1 dollar brand from Wal-mart. I know there are more expensive ones out there, but I have caught bass on these just as much as I have the 5 dollar Strike Kings. Plus, if I lose one of these, I am only out a dollar. ;D

Re: favorite name brand spinnerbait?
I have seen some for around 5 bucks. I know there are some that are less expensive, but that was the price that came to mind when I was typing.

M modified Red River F-5 spinnerbait.
I like the 3/8oz w/double Indiana blades. I remove the kicker blade and slightly shorten the wire. I have had great success with the single blade/short wire combination. I do all of my spinnerbaits like this except for 1/4oz double willow baits. http://www.redrivertackle.com |

Re: favorite name brand spinnerbait?
Well I haven't tried all that many spinnerbaits, but my favs are strike king and the $1 at Wal-Mart. They're actuallly pretty decent spinnerbaits in the blade combos I like and if you lose one, so what, just a buck.

Any fans of the tortoise shell blades? I like em!
the reason? i think that bend in the blade throws off a vibration (according to jimmy houston) who pushes them |

Re: favorite name brand spinnerbait?
i may have a new favorite spinner bait, just have to wait till i get to use it. it is a modified spinnerbait(or so i think) that PNJ gave me. the 4 bladed one. i have very high hopes for it. i just have to be carefull with it so i dont lose it, i have a feeling another one would be hard to comeby.

Re: favorite name brand spinnerbait?
Tom-use a rubber core sinker, pull out the rubber and crimp it on the wire just above the head. Â*Adds enough weight to counter the torque.
I really don't have a favorite-I throw everything from the dollar specials to terminators. |

Strike King for sure.
My favorite are the bleeding baits, they are about $3.50 and hold up. I've had success on dual blades, big willow and small colorado, on a white one. I hear the yellow works great too. |
