GONE AGAIN !
GOIN FISHIN'
Leaving out in the morning for a few days. A few of us are heading for Truman Res. at Warsaw Missouri for a few days. Going to pre-fish for the upcoming Ranger/Cabelas tournament. Have to come back Saturday for Grandsons graduation, so I will be back on board Sunday. JackL |

Thank goodness we need the break ;D Have fun and enjoy the fishing, and hopefully you'll be ready for the tourney. Is this a National tourney or a local one?

Â* Â* It is the Ranger/Cabelas tournament. It was started by Ozawkie Marine, who was the largest Ranger dealer West of the Mississippi. Cabelas wanted to handle Ranger boats in thier new Kansas City store. Ranger advised Cabelas that they were not letting any new Ranger franchises in that area, and if they wanted to handle Ranger boats, they would have to buy an existing dealership. They bought Ozawkie Marine, the Ranger dealer North of Topeka. Since buying the dealership, they have carried on the tradition of a Ranger tournament, sponsored by Cabelas. The only way you can enter the tournament is if you have bought a Ranger boat from Ozawkie Marine, or from Cabelas since they bought Ozawkie. Â* Â* It is a lot of fun, and they give away a lot of door prizes at the dinner, plus they pay cash for the top 30 bags. Jackl |
