Default Night fishing help plz

I live in a neighborhood with a lake in the center of it... i've been reading the forums a lot lately and just signed up and its been very helpful which is why i decided to join seeing that some of you wouldnt answer questions if the person was a guest so anyways, my question would be how to fish a senko worm or live nightcrawler at night at my lake from about 7pm-10pm. The lake is a green stained color and the depth probably ranges from 4ft to about 10ft... so plz anybody that can help me out it would be of great help. thx

P.S. all you guys are great... thx for the big tips ive been getting much better results seeing that i am only 2 weeks new to bass fishing. ;D

There's another night fishing post going on right now here on the same board, read it. As for the baits you asked about. Put a rattle in or on the bait for best results. But fish it with twitches to allow the fish to pick it up with movement. You can also just dead stick a senko. For a nightcrawler(been a long time since I used nightcrawlers) but just throw it out and wait. Odds are you catch a lot of other stuff, instead of a bass.

between 9 and 10, you're gonna want to use some noisy lures as it takes awhile for the bass eyes to adjust to the darkness. For night fishing, 11pm is the earliest I start.

Oh Yeah. Bass are designed to see in low light conditions. That is plenty of time.

they'll be able to see it, there night vision is much much better than ours. Of course it won't be as visible as it would at noon, but visibilty for them is much better than most think, so to add for the lack of visibilty, make it up with one of their other senses, hearing and/or smell.

For night fishing , topwater work great, a night you ll need to use lures that create a vibrations or a rattle. Buzzbaits, topwater plugs, spinnerbaits with large colorado blades. Something else to consider if you can get some shiners , fish them under a float and watch out.
