how to catch that stuborn spawning bass

i cant catch some nice spawning bass but they wont bite ive trie d lots of things but they just look at it.

I've had the same exact problem trying to catch spawning bass. For largemouths, the best way to catck them is to hop around a crappie jig in the nest. He won't bite at first. You might even need to spend like twnty minutes bouncing the jig around right in front of his nose. Slowly, he will get more and more agitated, circling the nest. You can even hit the bass in the head with the lure. Don't worry, he won't be scared out of the nest. Eventually, he'll het so pissed off at your bait, that he'll just eat it. Allways works for e, hope it helps you!

I've found annoying them till they go krazy is the best ??? I've found with jigs throw it into the nest and bounce it like you would the smaller crappie jig..the bigger jig being more intimidating...or with an unweighted senko twitched in the nest

snag them..it never fails. just kidding nobody should ever snag a fish its a lot harder to reel in a snagged fish than a hooked fish not like i would know

yea i know its illegal... i already got in trouble for that one but the gamewarden let me off because i didnt know i was doing anythin wrong..i was reelin my line in when i hooked it and apperently the gamewared had been watchin me for quite some time

i read a thing recently that said when u catch a bass on its bed it takes it 15 minutes to go back and by then most of there nest eggs are gone.

where did you read this? there are so many variables to how long it takes a bass to get back to its bed....but it gets back to is ASAP! there are alot of predators that will try to get the eggs...but if you get the bass in, and release it fast, i think the eggs will be fine. unless there are loads of bluegill just hangin around the nest when you catch the bass. which if i see the bass trying to defend her nest i dont try to catch them. but i think 15minutes is pushin it just a bit....but there are soooo many variables to the time it takes so no one can really tell for sure :-/ 8)
