Finding Maps
Does anyone knows any website where i can get a topo map of some lakes? I live in Mexico and have had some trouble finding a map of some lakes :-/

in mexico i would check the garmin web site . i use the garmin recreational lakes . for my gps unit. put out by mapsource . i like this version cause ya don't have to unlock any thing.

I always type in the lakes name on google and type in topo map or lake map.
most of the time the DNR here in ohio and ind will open a adobe reader and have the maps on it, then I zoom in on them and enlarge, and print. Topo maps are for sale on the internet to, I prefer to get them cheap, even tho they are never as detailed as the real ones that show every depth and sometimes good areas to fish in.. The ohio river maps are in a book like deal, ya flip from page to page as it goes from one lock to the next... |
