What kind of line do you use?
I have one reel with 30lb Braid for worms and jigs and one with 12 lb Vanish for crankbaits...
What do you guys have in your reels? |

Re: What kind of line do you use?
Kali, Look at the new Mustad Thor line that is coming out soon. I got a few spools to try and I absolutely love it. It has very low stretch, lays out flat. It should be out soon.I also like the Japanese Toray line, but it pricey compared to most brands. P N J

Re: What kind of line do you use?
I use 50 lb PowerPro braid for baits that you need to feel like worms and jigs and 12 lb green Trilene XL for everything else.

Re: What kind of line do you use?
20lb Fireline for spinning reels, 30lb or 50lb PowerPro for baitcaster. I also do use some TrileneXL FLourescent 12lb for night fishing with Black Lights. Or sometimes with topwater or cranks I go with the TrilenXL 12lb also.

Re: What kind of line do you use?
I had the same idea of zooker, but last weekend i fish a tournament in a lake here in Mexico that I have never fished before (400 anglers) and the cover is so hard that I HAD to use braid and it worked really good for me, without it I don’t think I could have land half of the fish I landed...
