im going into a breakdown, reading abou these reels, rods, tiki dipstiks, thinkin about senkos, jitterbugs, pop-r's, hell even lizards(though i cant catch any on them). I need help in my time of peril LOL. Help

I know exactly what you mean. The monke cleaned out my wallet the other day at BPS. I'm flat broke, but I'm on a tackle high so I don't care. ;D

Fishie you dont understand......... The baitmonkey is like being addicted to something that something is fishing. When you catch a big fish the monkey starts to live on your back thats when you get the uncontrolable urge to buy fishing tackle............. ITS UNCONTROLABLE!!!!!!!!!!

I use to have the bait monkey so I know what you mean but I think buying gear is more of a habit than buying it for fisihing with. We got like 20 worms a bag and we need to have 5o or so one us to feel secure

I dunno, I just stay away from any place that could sell them. Now when I do go though, it can get kinda ugly. Then remember I am new to this bass fishing that you speak of. Usually it is catfish for me, so all I need is a hook, weight, swivel, and chicken liver, and I am good to go.
