Jim,
I sure used to...esp what I caught, and the weather conditions...you'll find the more you get into bass
fishing the more you'll learn about the weather, fronts and barmetric pressure effects the bass bite
Its real easy to do on the computer
back when I learned it though they were still developing the atari game PONG lol

Been keeping one for a couple of years-there are some software programs out there, some are free.

Here is one you can print out and fill in the info:

If you are looking for software just do a search and there are several good ones out there-I have a couple but just haven't found the one I really like yet.

Lockjaw, you can get some software or even use the wordpad or notepad already on your system.

Even if you can't download a program, you can always open WORD or EXCEL or Notepad and make you entries, and each time you make a additional entry just save it.
You can save it to MY DOCUMENTS or MY BRIEFCASE
If your into grids use EXCEL and label dates, weather contions, and what happened..you'll get into it~

That'll work, bigjim. I did that with a spreadsheet program for my Palm and can keep it handy even on the boat, but I prefer to use one of the software programs, print each record out and keep in in a notebook.

You can buy into TOPO maps of your lake to.
I wish the really good ones were free but they're not.
Ya really need a lake map of depths to get serious.
I carry one for the ohio river and every big lake in ohio....they are only a couple bucks and very handy..
