Does anyone drag race?

Do any of you guys own a drag car? It's been a hobby of mine since I got my drivers licence. Have owned several muscle cars over the years, 1969 SS396-375 hp 4spd nova , 1968 Pontiac GTO 400 w/350hp auto w/ dual gate shifted turbo 400 ,1969 Dodge Dart 340 4pd on the "bottle", 1969 Dodge Super Bee 440 w/375 hp auto 727 TF , currently own a 1963 Chevy2 w/ 400 small block roller motor auto glide w/ trans brake 10' inch tire car.

My dad used to own a dodge Nova (spelling) and an SS he said he used to drag. Until he recked he flew throgh the t-top. no i dont but i go to a local dirt track and wacth my brother he races open wheel

i have raced ATV's......i have always wanted a muscle car.....i had a dream car....then i forgot about it...and cant remember it now :P

Thats what I got now................ Accet with a 6" lift and 37" tires 8) ............... Got it fixed up and its a good ride.......... Especialy when you get to having a competition to see who can make it through the muddhole the fastest or just getting through it period.......

i got a 1996 lumina and an 80 dodge ram pickup... dodge runs custom bent headers with nothin comin off 'em. can't drive it ne where b/c it's WAYYYYY too loud. i usually use it for screwin around in the fields when they get muddy in teh spring ;D ;D

recently sold a 1969 mustang fastback... it was my mom's first car... the thing ripped

lumina runs about 18 seconds in a 1/4 mile :-[ :-[

The Nova I have now ,runs 10.60's threw the mufflers and on street tires . Oh and that is on the motor, no bottle. It would run faster if it went straight durring the launch. Got to kinda peddle it out there, or she wants to run into the gaurd rail.

I have an Acura Integra GS-R. I actually haven't gone to the track yet, I'm waiting to get my turbo fully assembled. Looking for 300whp and to be in the high 12's/ low 13's on the 1/4 mile. I'd really like to do some auto-crossing too. But the car isn't finished yet, so It'll be some time.

Awsome dyas i soon going to race bikes all my uncles have raced bike son both sides of familys realy weird but yeah im looking at a 67 fastback mustang restored of course that or a f 150 and ill probly get a 6 " lift and set of boggers atleast tahts wat i want lol

If you owned a General Lee , you would find yourself driving a slow car. Nice lookin',but horribly slow.

JB, whats in that bad boy? Auto or 4 spd? The first muscle car I rode in was back in 1976 at the age of 8.My uncle who has been through a slew of muscle cars took me and mom for a rip in a 1968 428 SCJ mustang coupe 4 spd. It was built as a factory drag car,one of like 150 built. All I can really remember was my head being pinned to the seat. Oh, I also remember the car had a real bad case of wheel hop through 1,2 and a little in 3rd. Cars did'nt really hook up on Poly glass tires. My mom was pretty pissed,I loved it.
