Default hooks for Carolina rigs

probably a simple question, but then again i am from Oz. :P
have read a few different places about Carolina rigs. i can find how to put them together but not what sort of hooks are used & will they work with zoom fluke jnrs & the like.
i want to try them on our local snapper.
any help appreciated.
cheers all
Dave.

Use the same hook you always use on the Zoom fluke Jr's. The hook is up to you. I just match the hook to what I'm using on the C-rig(short for Carolina Rig). If I'm using say a 4" worm I might use a 1/0 hook, if I'm using a Super Fluke then I'll use a 5/0 hook. Lizards I like a 2/0 or 3/0. Tubes usually a 4/0.

Felix-here is an example of a Carolina rig:

It really is limited only by your imagination.

I mostly use the 3/0 Mustad Mega EWG Hook, for one reason...It has a larger eye on it, and when you get a little older it sure is a lot easier to get the line in it. Thanks Lakeguide
