Spawning in Colorado
So the largemouth finally started spawning here, Ive been watching 15-20 in bass circleing their nests chasing bluegill and perch out. However, I have tryed everything I have sitting stuff in the nest, bouncing it slowly through the nest, the only reaction Im getting is a long glance, but no strikes, any suggestions? thanks

Re: Spawning in Colorado
Try a lizard, a craw, or since they are chasing bluegill try something that mimics a bluegill. I read an article today about a guy fishing Lake Fork who has a reputation for big bass who was bed fishing. A couple of times he spent 30+ minutes throwing the the same fish and no takers. My point is sometimes they just won't bite when they are on the bed. Just keep chunking and see if you can aggravate one into striking.
