Default how to put line on a baitcaster

how do u do it put it on strate where it doesnt curl up or let it curl and reel it up like on spinnin reel

I really don't know what you just said there? But go down a couple fo posts, and read the post about Power Pro on a baitcaster.

Jacob, If the line is wanting to twist up as your putting it on the reel, flip the spool of line over other side up and it should straighten the problem out.The other thing to do is fill the reel full and tie a snap swivel on and go outside hook the swivel to a nail or peice of wire on a post or something and unspool the entire spool of line and then reel it back on again. The swivel should allow the line to untwist. I hope this helps. Â* P N J

Jacob-when you get ready to put the line on put a pencil through the spool and wind it on with the filler spool turning, not laying flat. That will help keep the line twist out.

The way I do mine is leave the spool in the box. That way there is tension at the spool itself, then take my thumb and forefinger and hold tension at the reel itself. I have always done it this way and have never had a problem.
