Name your boat?

Was just wondering if anyone named their boat and why did you use that name? Mine is "Aunt Irene."
When she passed away she left me a little money so in her honor I named my boat.

Be prepared to be bored. I've always called my boats something, rather they were "named" or not. This is sort of long. I've had a few boats.

Mine now is "Phoenix". I lost my Javelin 379 in a divorce, so the little skiff is all I can afford right now. Like the Phoenix of the Indian Legend, I'll rise from my own ashes.

The Javelin was "The Pocket Rocket". It was a 17.5 foot boat with a 150 hp Johnson. Small enough to "slip into your pocket", and fast as a rocket.

I called my Cajun Paul Elias "The Barge". I used to love to tease the dealer who sold it to me, (He was a good friend, still is although I haven't seen him for years.) about how slow it was. I told him it was so slow that I got passed by tow boats pushing gravel barges up and down the James River. Actually it was pretty fast for a heavy boat.

I had a 16.5 foot Cajun before that. The boat had a Mariner 115 hp tower of power inline 6. That boat/motor made a particular noise. The guys in my club were waiting for me one day hoping I'd be late for the weigh-in and one of them heard me coming and said "Here comes that D.....ed Grey Thunder". The name stuck.

And before that one I had a 16 ft Fisher Marine Marsh Hawk III/ 40 hp Yamaha that I called "The Tin Man" for obvious reasons.

Bought a Nitro with a Merc 150 efi last year. Tookit to the company picnic on our local lake. My boss took one look at it and said, what do you call it..... over time? The name stuck.

My boat I call either Honey oir Mandy,named after my girlfriend,companion,and all around great person.

When I was coming home with my new boat, I stopped at a friend's house to show it to him. He said "That's not a boat, that's a Wet Corvette" and the name has stuck!

well if a boat aint like a "working girl " i don't know what is. every time you look at it funny it cost you.

me and my buddy took my lil boat down the lake one day his father was out there said it looked like 2 gorilla's riding a june bug-cause of it's color-.
so i call it my june bug.
