flfireman, that was one heck of a game-fun to watch. I thought FSU might pull it out there at the end.

Born a buckeye, raised a Gator. Guess I can gloat a little. Neither did well but to play spoiler was great. Yes I know Michigan is still Rose bowl bound. Great day of football, and yes I thought FSU was going to squeak out a last minute win also. 8)

Has everyone got tired of football already. Spurriers in SC, Auburn is probably gonna get screwed from a national champ chance, Bass Boss even stopped posting about Tenn every day, Havent even heard from the others who were startin up some good banter. Oh well guess Ill wait till the conference games start. 8) ???

Auburn is probably getting just what they want. To those guys, being co-national champs is just as attractive as winning the NC outright, but its not as difficult. They don't want a piece of OU or USC, especially after my injury riddled Tide exposed a lot of their weaknesses last week.

Bassboss is probably hiding until after the SEC championship game since Ainge is injured. Its not easy playing without your starting quarterback - but at least they have the rest of their backfield intact.

Well it is Notre Dame, and they haven't truly been in contention for the Championship since he's been there, and that's just not acceptable to the Irish Faithful, and Alumni, not to mention NBC

The fact that Urban Meyer might be somewhere else in a month or two might have hastened the Irish's decision to go ahead and fire Willingham.

Urban in Fl, mans already done a whirlwind recruiting tour. Came through Melbourne the other day. Of course they will do good, Zook has left him with a very talented team of youngsters. Listening to him talk he reminds me alot of Spurrier. Have to wait until next season to find out. 8)

Well I'm going to make my second venture into the hostile territory known as tennessee to see Bama play. This time we get the golden gophers - oh well its a football game and pretty soon I will miss it dearly.

I just hope both they, and the Colts get to Play again. They have been the Colts Nemesis for a few years now, and if we're gonna go to the Superbowl, I want it to go through New England

Things In Football That Sound Dirty -- But Aren't

20. The hole closed on him before he could penetrate it.
19. He came at his blind side and got him from behind.
18. He's off to the sidelines for a quick blow.
17. It's a game of inches.
16. That hole was so big, you could drive a truck through it.
15. When you get down in this area, you just gotta start pounding.
14. He's gonna feel that one tomorrow.
13. He found his tight end.
12. End around.
11. He had to stretch to get it in.
10. He gets penetration in the backfield.
9. He blows them off (at the line).
8. He bangs it in.
7. He could go all the way.
6. He gets it off just in time.
5. He goes deep.
4. He found a hole and slid through it.
3. He pounds it in.
2. He beats them off (the line)
1. He's got great hands.

I wonder how the Eagles will do without TO. There were only two teams that really stood out this year in the NFC, Falcons and Eagles. The Pack still won their division though.
