C-Rigging Crankbaits
I believe it was Ranger who said who won a tourney doing this, and it seems like a great idea. What cranks are best for this? I would assume some floaters, but perhaps not. Also I'm sure it depends on the bait, but what size of c-rig weight do you NORMALLY use for it? I would like to try it next time out.

Re: C-Rigging Crankbaits
I have used a small Hula Popper on Carolina Rigs from time to time, whenever they just will not bite anything else. But, I have developed a new 5" frog called Rosco Reeder. This frog will float a 4/0 hook has excellent leg action and will most likely be my go to plastic on the Carolina Rig. I'll try and get a pix up in a bit, We have been testing this thing since late December, trying to get the thing down to 10 colors, All that is done, Production started this past Monday. Should have them ready to sell by this coming Monday.

Re: C-Rigging Crankbaits
It was me that was talking about C-rigging a Baby 1-Minus. We won a tournament in '93 doing this. We fished it on a 24" leader in about 9-12 feet of water. Our sack weighed 21 1/4 lbs.
IT'S DEADLY!!! ;D |
