they Do look interesting now don't they? I haven't seen them in use yet but like everything, you have to know where to throw it and when, I am sure the attraction is the jointed sections giving a life like swim action... 8) |

Re: Kicktail Lure
I ordered a Lucky Craft Live Pointer (close to the same thing) once. Payed $16 for that dadgum thing. Barely used it before the lip broke off. I never caught anything off of it. Didn't fish it much.(always afraid of getting it hung up)

Re: Kicktail Lure
I haven't really spent a huge sum to buy any bait, my downfall is going for a 3 hour road trip to buy a 3 dollar bait lol >

Re: Kicktail Lure
JB,
Was it worth it? I wait an entire year for the Pittsburgh Outdoor Show so I can buy some of the most effective handpours I've ever fished with, and spend $20 on lures that cost 10 cents each. And it's worth it too. |

Re: Kicktail Lure
OH yeah its always worth it. Nice long drive, and the anticipation of using the lure as soon as you can , or better arming yourself for the next tournie...its a head game to say the least............ :-/

Re: Kicktail Lure
i will never pay that much for a lure. 16$...thats crazy. the reason is i will be to afraid to throw it in heavy cover, and thus not fish where the fish are.

I never will again. What's even crazier is Hess crankbaits (I saw featured in a Bassmaster magazine) are sold for $50.
