Ahhh... this brings back memories. But seriously, anyone who is near there should get out. I thought I had it bad last year when I saw three hurricanes and got the full force of the eye of Charley, but no storms last year can compare to the 165-175mph winds of Katrina. Take care, and God bless.

Im over here near pensacola, and all we are getting is rain and 50mph wind. Our beach is gonna be gone, the water was already over the beach road yesterday morning. But other than that its a good thing that this one missed us cuz this area is still rebuilding from ivan and dennis.

Katrina came plowing right through my neck of the woods, Luckily it was only a category one at the time. No damage, but I did fish for a couple hours right after it passed and managed to catch 4 peacock.

Well considering that My moms fionce is a contractor for Phillips and Jordan we had to drive back home coming into the storm. Kinda shackey going 80 mph into 50 mph winds and tons of water being poured on ya. We had a tree fall on my moms new Lexus. But other than that we did good. But at my dads there is a tree blocking my tree stand. Gotta break out the chainsaw once again...............
