what time in the day is the best time to fish

i was just wondering what time u guys think the best time to fich is? early morning evning???

wellll it depends on wut ur fishin for and wut ur fishin with...if fishing for bass ive had alot of luck in the early morning but things like catfish normally better luck with at night lately

Right now up here its between 4:30 a.m. and about 9 a.m

Depends where you are and what the conditions are. Here it is over 100 in the afternoons with a heat index of 108, so early and late is the times to go. If it is cloudy, though, you could stay out all day.

I hate mornings, so I try to go late evenings. I think next week after work Im going to go night fishing just for an hour or so, in a canoe. woohoo.

when we fish we usually fish at 5:30 in the morning and it seems we have the best luck then...notice i said luck...i look at it this way, if im hungry the fish are hungry...i dont knoe if theres a best time to go fishing, just go all day and the times you feel most comfortable at.

The best time to fish is when the fish are bitting which can be early and late but sometimes on occasions you will catch more fish in the middle of the day...........

From my own experience, I have had the most catches in early morning just past dawn and early evening around dusk. I'm not sure if it has to do with the sun not being so prominant with heat and light. I always figured it was because some bugs are more active at those times; especially mosquitoes.

Recently I have been going after work, and once the sun moves below the treeline I start to get bites.
