Well, tomorrow is the last day of the year. They're calling for 65 degrees, with SSW winds, 10-20. It's the third or fourth day of a warming trend here. There is a falling tide in the morning. I'm off from work tomorrow. Guess where I'll be?

Also I got my 05 fishing license today. Went to the Game Comission Web Site, filled out the application, gave 'em my Visa number, printed out the license on my printer, cut it out and put it in my wallet. Ain't techonology great?

I can say, that is one thing that I love about NC. The licenses issued here are good for one year after you buy them. They don't run out at the end of December. Unless, of course, if they are bought at the end of December. ;D ;D ;D

Here in Texas the licenses go from Aug. 31 to Aug. 31. Why I have no idea.

In NY, the license runs Oct. 1-Sep. 30. I like the NC way, where it runs for a year from purchase date.

We have a warm burst of warm air, it melted just about all of our snow, but most rivers right now are raging, and lake erie is out of the question, bass are out deep and some of the launches are closed. No fishing for a Buffalonian.

Greatest Christmas present I ever recieved was 2 years ago when my mom bought me a lifetime fishing license ;D I never have to buy another license for Indiana as long as I'm alive. I think it cost $175 and that was right before they raised all the rates. Now it would cost $285, I think annual license costs $15 or so...do you know Lizards?

Yeah they are around $15 for a yearly license. Lets see $15 X 19 years is about $285, think I'll just pay yearly I would have bought one when they were cheaper, but since hopefully in 19 years from now I'll be somewhere where I can fish year round ;D

Virginia license runs from January 1 to December 31. They're 12.50 a year. They used to run June to July, but they changed it so it didn't run out in the middle of fishing time. (We don't have any "seasons" here except for trout.) They used to get a bunch of tickets when the ran out the end of June. Since that wasn't the idea, they changed that. Fines for game violations don't go to the game comission in Virginia, so there's no financial incentive for game wardens to write tickets.

Â*Yea, we went out. Went to Badin lake (central NC).
Not even one (1) bite.

Â*Went again Sat. I caught one bass appx. 10" long and fowel hooked 5 shad. (give me a break)
Â*Man I hate this lake, but we have a tournament on Badin on the 22. Did ok in 2004 but this time I wonder if this particular body of water even has any bass left in it .
Â*Of course the "high pressure weather" may just have them turned off. In 2004 the weather was miserable, but the fish were on good.

a jersey license with a trout stamp is $33.50.i got 4 brown trout so far this year(all were between15 and 19&quot.... in the past 2 days.that's more trout than i got in all of last year.whoa!hold on,i only went for trout because there was a good chance of picking up some smallies in the same area on the same baits.
