Re: wd-40
Well, I once watched a guy spray live minnows with WD-40 and proceed to load the boat with crappie. But I defer to Tom-he's the expert.

Re: wd-40
It was pretty popular here at Lake Anna for a while. I wouldn't use it though. It is a petroleum product, and we got enough oil in the water without me adding to it when I don't really need to.

Re: wd-40
I posted once about using it and several guys responded (on another board) about being ecologically detrimental. I still use it from time to time.
Mostly I use a garlic/salt spray on my soft plastics from www.garlicvalleyfarms.com It's the Cold Pressed Liquid Garlic and being water based, it penetrates the plastics very well. |

Re: wd-40
I buy the wd-40 by the gallon at Home Depot. Much cheaper in the long run than buying the aerosols.

Re: wd-40
i just dont see how wd-40 could help anything. it puts harmfull chemicals and oil in the water and how could this help fish.i just dont see how polluting the water is good for anything. but i guess it works for some.

Think about when Tommy releases them to be caught again by the unsuspecting idiot who plans on eating them. Just another reason not to kill our bass because your fat & stupid, and got the brains god gave a gnat. Maybe I am too harsh or maybe not. ;D P N J

Re: wd-40
i don't think that little bit of wd poisons the fish...or pollutes the environment.
i do hope it opens that hole in the ozone layer a little..i'm sick and tired of this cold weather. |

Re: wd-40
I know that the W in wd-40 stands for water, and that the 40 stands for how many times they failed before they got the right formula. What does the D stand for I have forgot??
