thanks a lot guys. id really love to catch on this lure. txlady, im doing another right now. itll be in the colors you wanted. just to show you if its the right one. have it mixed already. and yes i tested it in my tub. has a sort of differnt action... when you drag it forward, it surges forward, pushes water, then dips back. it really does look cool

chris- i have two more. i carved em today, theyre now drying (epoxy). one is like a spook and lipless crankbait hybrid in this same color, just a bit darker, and red belly. the other one i foiled. it is a copper color with a purple back.

bass kicker i dont have much sandpaper left. i cant do a spook right now

Yeah Cranky, they're floating lures. Just think of a hot dog, or a cigar while sanding. That's about it.

Very nice work there young man, really like it, I'll take one in blue back and sliver body, baby bass, and shinner colors please. Oh. and if you would, put a smaller O ring on the back of mine and tie a feather to the trebble hook. Check's in the mail, and OH.....can you tell me why it hurts when I do this?

bass fishing girl- thanks a lot. i have another one in this color, its my best mix. i still have a can, so if anyone likes it i can easily whip some up, since i gotta finish it fast.
ineccess- ok i might make one
va- i would but i dont know what kind of feathers to use. any suggestions? ive got some white marabou...

kicker- ill make you one when you ask and im done with the rest.
betursweetbass- i dont have silver but when i get it ill make you one. got a design you want? and would the o ring be the thing the split ring is on? for poppers, i have to make em big since i make em with wire going thru. otherwise, i couldnt cup the mouth. i found some screw eyes btw. id need to use wire for any weighted lure or poppers. ill let you see my other two designs, but theyre a bit sticky. probably in 3 hours or so.

txlady- um the lure i did in your colors, i foiled. it looks more of a copper color. and i put the eyes too far back. but imagine it without the foil and thatd be your color. the foil i shard to put on without wrinkling it. and yeah, "stop doing that" would be a smart choice

yeah? thanks man. i just made two more. i already carved them, just painted and epoxied em. one of them screwed up on the paint job. the bottom is very ugly. but the design looks like a winner. the second one i really like. i painted them in txladies color, then added black dots on it. ill post pics of the 4 you havent seen tomorrow, since the ones from yesterday are still sticky
