Default climbing

Does anyone else in here climb? I've been to a lot of rock climbing gyms, and its always fun to go. But indoor can't compare to climbing outdoors, unfortunately in fl there are no cliffs so I have to go to a gym. I climbed devils lake in WI befor I moved here, its a pretty awesome place (good fishing too.)

In 7th grade, the class took a week-long trip to a nearby but famous (and rather pricey) camp.

There were a lot of tree climbing and other climbing opportunities. I remember one place where you are strapped to a harness, climb up a 100 ft pole, and near the top, there is a giant trapeze. You get to try and jump from the top of the pole to the trapeze.

If you miss, then [s]splat[/s] you just slowly fall down by the harness. Of course, you gotta be lowered anyways.

I don't like climbing high too much. I have no fear of riding on airplanes... but I'm a bit afraid of heights I guess.

We do a lot of climbing foothills and creek bottoms in may looking for morel mushrooms,,,
its more like battling all the sticker bushes around here, but worth it if ya find a couple shrooms here and there, there sure isn't any big patches of them anymore, ya just find the here n there
