I ordered a few of these, why not try something new. I don't know why people knock these new baits that come out every now and then. It could be something pretty big also, being that they have a month waiting list for this new lure.

WTBF, I don't know how many of the pros were using them, one in particular they talked about, the guy was in 2nd place when I heard that. Fishing in a isolated place, without any fishing pressure from anyone else, so I'm guessing they would have bitten anything moving fast with noise. Not saying the chatterbait isn't a good bait, I have no idea. But I'm not ordering one YET, we'll see how it comes along first. I bet a gazillion bucks that now you won't be able to buy one for a year or 2 after this LOL Chatterbaits couldn't have asked for any better advertising than that. Lizards

Lizards, yeah, in all likelihood, chatterbaits will become the new hot bait now that ESPN mentioned it during their coverage of the Classic.
As for me, the jury is still out as to whether this bait is worthwhile. Still, if I happen to find one, I will likely buy it. |

I'll pick up a couple as long as I'm paying less than $5 for them. Ain't no way I'm paying $100+ like somebody already mentioned.

That entrie ESPN show probably was laden with suggestions for people to buy tackle..just like BASSMASTERS magazine...its a proven gimmick that always increases sales of the mentioned "wonder bait"...

Well, The chatterbait didn't catch any fish for me this weekend, mainly because it never touched water. We had major thunderstorms here saturday, and I didn't get to go. Oh well!

Went to a private pond with the chatterbait. This is one impressive bait! Fish went crazy for this thing. My buddy was fishing a spinnerbait right beside me and I was pulling out 3 fish to his one. The vibration was crazy and the fish loved it. Can't wait to try it in my tourny this weekend

Ryano, thanks for the update on the chatterbait. Seems like you might be on to something. Perhaps this lure is for real.
