What is the best?
What is your opinion on the best type of line (manufacture) to use. color, and what pound test to use? Thanks for the info. |

Re: What is the best?
There are as many answers for that as there are fishermen.
For worms, jigs, Carolina rigs and flipping I prefer 50 lb Powerpro braid. For other baitcasting applications I use 12 lb green Trilene XL. For spinning rods I use 8 or 10 lb green Trilene XL. Are they the "best"? They are the ones I have the most confidence in after MUCH trial and error. That's good enough for me. |

Re: What is the best?
I might as well chime in on this. I use power pro white and moss green. In the mono I use low vis green and in florocarbon clear.

Re: What is the best?
All the 25 different answers are right, I think the key is to use the line as a active part of your tackle box. As you swap lures trail and error on different line / lure / fish structures combos.
I never used to do this and since I started my catches has gone up somewhat! |
