The head is designed so that the eye is recessed into the head.I do not buy them from this site, I buy them from Gander Mountain or through this site I am posting.I buy the 3 pk picasso heads and then buy the hydrosilk skirts.that skirt is what comes with picasso jigs so they are the same thing , but a little cheaper in price. Picasso also comes with a starflash skirt now but you can buy them separately as well. P N J http://www.northernbass.com/

Bassnman-actually that recessed line tie will help protect the knot-PnJ introduced me to a grassmaster jig which is similar, and the recessed line tie helps it come through the cover better IMO-the knot won't get hung up. Â*However, I throw jigs on 50 lb PowerPro braid so it takes a lot to fray that line.

wv, it is not so much I'm worried about losing heavy fish as it is getting the fish out of the cover. I fish a lot of flooded treetops and have pulled out fish from places that would have shredded mono, and since these are baits you need to feel the bite the braid is extremely sensitive.
