I use fluro on my finese rig setups (dropshot, tubes) with spinning gear. I do back the line however with fireline or mono. Berkley Vanish works pretty well. Interested to try transition. On my baitcasters though it's mono or braid.

I use both mono (Trilene big game)and flouro(vanish).
I like using flouro for soft plastics and any lure i want to fish sub-surface because it sinks faster and is more sensitive due to less stretch. It kills the action of topwaters though because it sinks. I use mono for topwater and any other lure that i want a little stretch or shock absorbstion. Since I have gone to flouro for weightless soft plastics i can't stand using mono for them, the difference is ENORMOUS!
Hope this helps.

well i use mono, floural, and braid..

I like bekley xl and cabellas brand mono's for top water and cranks for the shock absorbing strech factor. Â*spider wire or gorilla braid in thicks. Â*played with vanish for weightless set up's last year and i'm pretty sold on it. Â*played with some p-line practicing in the back yard and it's some backlashing crap!! Â*

I will agree with you here on everything, except I don't use flouro for worming, it's Fireline for me. I use mono for all topwater, and crankbaitss/spinnerbaits for your exact reasons. The fireline is better than the flouro for sinking, and strength, that's why I use it.

earthworm/zooker,

I use Stren sometimes, and have had no issues with it. Why would you make a statement that they haven't produced any good line in years? If you prefer another brand, that's fine, just wanting to know WHY you guys think it's so bad.

I use Toray Ninja & Stren mono and Tuf Line braid. I am going to try the Sufix mono this year.I am not sure why you all are having trouble with Stren, I haven't had any problems to complain about. :P P N J
