Default help: lures and presentaion

I'm fishing an Ohio lake this weekend. Shallow, clear, almost zero fishing pressure, with four consecutive days in the 40's. What lures and presentations should I try? Or should I just stay home?
Thanks

The water I'm sure will be cold, so slow will be the order of the day. Â*I'd look for deeper water, a drop off or creek channel and would throw a jig and pig or if you find baitfish a jigging spoon. Â*I also wouldn't hesitate to throw a suspending jerkbait like an X-Rap or a Suspending Rogue along cover over a creek channel. Â*Bites will probably be real light, so watch your line. Â*A dropshot would be worth a try, too. Â*Good Luck!

Forgot a couple of things-sleep late and fish the warmest part of the day, and fish the NW side-it warms up the quickest UNLESS there is a strong wind blowing. Then fish the side the wind is blowing from-that water would be warmer. The wind will make the water it is blowing over colder since it mixes the water, so fish the side with the less wind.

I agree with rebasser. dropshot or c-rig a creature
off the deep points.. slow, slow, slow, stay out of the wind with sun in your back.. you might find a fish or two

Go fishing any and everytime you can. I go anytime I can, rain, cold, etc. (since it doesn't snow here, I can't say snow) but you get my drift. I'm going tomorrow and the water is most likely 53 degrees, it's perfect for smallies and the like, and to be honest I hope it rains. Less people on the lake. Oh, I almost forgot, I concur with what everyone else said, and fish slow. One more thing, check out the Jan. Bassmaster mag, on the front cover they're talking about fishing deep cold clear water.
