Brookville Lake
Started the day with Denny about 4:30 am. and hit the lake, was 72 water surface temp, full moon and about 56 air temp.
We started out in the dark throwing buzzbaits up against the bank on a long point off the ramp. Nailed the first smallmouth of the year on the black n white n blue/green buzzbait, then Denny hit a largemouth in his black buzzbait with chartruese. All fish were in 7 feet of water and about 15 feet off the bank. I got another around the point , this time smaller smallie, and denny hits 2 more decent largemouths, 5 bass in first hour, spent the next 5 hours in and out of huge coves looking for bass, but no takers..all in all a good day out on the lake, got to watch a few idiots putting in , dodged a few hundred limbs, stumps, trees in the water with out getting thrown in the drink too lol 8) 8) |
