Not to brag but I consider myself pretty good. Before highshool and having to do homework I use to fish all day long every weekend and I use to fish everyday almost all day in the summer. Now I have baseball everyday also.

Didn't mean to come off as being cocky. I'm just confident. I think Rebasser and CajunBass have fished a lot of tournaments which is something I want to get more involved in. I won two fishing derbies and came in 3rd on a Junior Bassmaster down at Lake of the Ozark but a lot of those kids don't know what the hell they are doing anyways.

I think the most experienced fisherman has to be Reb of the grown ups on the site. But for The young anglers i have to say bf02. He has helped me in so many situations that i was stuck in. the kid knows his stuff.

Hula, You did really well for your first time of butt kissing.Instant message me your address and I will send you something as long as you don't make a habit of butt kissing. As for the answer to the post, I believe that it doesn't matter who is the best as long as we all can learn new things to make us ALL a better fisherman and in general be a better person than we were before joining this site. ;D P N J

i would not say that one man is better than another. but jackl has the most experience. besides being lazy-err i mean retired- which translates into time on the water-or watering the lawn - which we all know that is what it takes to be REAL good.

also would have to say jb,cajun,bassnman30,and reb are better than average-while reb can't get out as often as he would like.

thanks for a nomination!

I think Chip, and I have the edge cause we also ice fish and it's alot more technical.... you know waiting around for something to swim right under a hole in the middle of the lake, thats skill! and if you belive that then I'll be damned. lol ;D

I don't have a say in it .I think were all good fishermen and have good skills and expertise in our own areas.who's to say they are better than anyone else. I respect all you guy's as good fishermen, a true fishermen will go to places to get resources to expand his or her knowledge base. that's what it's all about learning new things to make you a better angler!

Robby.

Zilla beat me to it. Â*That is exactly what we have. Â*And by sharing the expertise and info we all become better bass fishermen. Â*

And you got that right, Zooker-I can't get out as often as I'd like

1. It's the guy who doesn't have to boast about it.
2. It's the guy who knows he still has to learn more to become better.
3. Lots of those folks fit the category.

Several who don't get their names mentioned enough, Senkosam, Mac10, bassintom, Bassin Socal, Bassguy, ILbassin, the list can go on and on. But if I had to vote, it would probably be bassintom, for the fact he fishes more than any of us, Ice, heat, anytime he can, he gets on the water. And if you fish that much, you gotta learn a few things. Or JackL, because I think he showed Jesus a few tips on how to catch them for fishes and loaves night. I KNOW FOR A FACT IT ISN'T ME or YOU.

Lizards, Has Tom sent you a case of wine instead of a box of baits by accident in his moving process ? ??? Been listening to a little Creedence clear water revival ? It ain't you or me ,but it could be a sleeper here.Someone like Boltzie or Tony. Where are those guys anyway ? It could be Dave or fishing Dude who posts alot of pictures. It could be Kevin, he himself said he the best in the world. Can you argue with him ? I can't until I either fished with him or against him.I am going with a Long shot, JB seems to have alot of background knowledge on fishing, he seems to have the desire to do better every time out. That is what you need to become a good fisherman. For me seeing is always believing. I have not personally witnessed anyone on this board make a single cast, and because of that I cannot personally attest to anyone being better at catching fish than anyone else. Sure there are some here who talk a good game, and I'm sure some who practice it; who? is the question that we cannot know. Its not hard at all to regurgitate info out of bassmaster magazine, but the real talent comes in applying it to nature and suceeding.

I can tell you who I respect from talking to on here; Jack, Reb, PnJ, Lizards, 02, Hula, Tom and several other who don't come to mind right now.

Would'nt you all agree that we all are good at it,if not getting better. We have all had our day when it seemed like you could do no wrong. No matter what you had been throwing, you caught fish. Well, that day, you're the best. " Oh,and what lizards said."

I agree with WTL, I have never seen anyone here make a cast. However, the people I respect from talking to on here are Zooker, Hula, Lone, PNJ, Rob, Lizards, WTL, 02, Carolina Chip, Reb, Tom, Jersey JOe (wherever he is) Senkosam and flamez/fiamez. ;D Everybody remember him? ;D I think I have learned from a lot of people on this site, a lot of people sharing their knowledge like this is a great idea, probly one of the best I've ever seen.
