I encourage anyone who has any devotion to the real thing to boycott this movie. I wont listen to the new "lynryrd skynrd" nor will I go see a movie like the dukes of hazard or longest yard. They are throwing out a shoddy product because they know that these films already have a legitimately built up name and they want to suck up whatever profit they can from it with as little effort as possible.

#1 No its not Lynryd Skynryd when the band only has 1 original member performing. Most of Skynryrd died in a plane crash.

# 2 Jessica Simpson is a beautiful slut. I saw her new carwashing video, and while of course she looks great she has lowered herself to a Christina Aguilara type low, when she had claimed some sort of previous level of morality.

I cant wait to see it. Especialy since Jessica Simpson plays Daisy. But thats not all. Willie Nelson plays Uncle Jesse, Johnny Knoxvill who is one of the stupidest persons I have ever seen, watch Jackass and you will know why, is playing Luke. Burt Reynolds plays Boss Hogg. It oughtta be realy good movie. I am also a person that watches it every time I see its on. I dont see why the show was canceld int he first place..

1.) 3 members died in a plane crash, 2 died later. However, Lynyrd Skynyrd isn't just about the people playing. It's the way they played. I think ronnie would rather them keep going then give up.

2.) Sex sells. It is a free country she can do what she wants. I don't know her so I am not going to resort to calling her a slut because she can shake it good.

I don't take back my language concerning Simpson, nor will I lie about her talentless sister who tries ridiculously to groom a punk image while lip-synching. I'm frankly tired of so called artists stripping down the second that their careers start to wane. Simpson's old man is a baptist preacher, and for a while she tried to act like it, but as soon as her marriage gets on the rocks and she decides that she can be an actress (yea right), she starts to strip down like the rest of Madam Madonna's ladies.

Another thing- Johnny Knoxville is playing luke? He is just a professional dumb@ss! What makes me want to see him act? Willie Nelson? An actor? Well he has to pay his income taxes, and I know he smoked a joint in half baked, but thats hardly a career in acting. Was Roudy Roddy Piper not available?

Regarding Neil Young - as I understand it Ronnie respected his talent and considered him a sort of worthy adversary who should keep his trap shut about the south. I think ole Ronnie was right.
