Anyone tried Berkley's Transition or Vanish? What do you think about them?

To be blunt. It Sucks!! The worst line on the market. I have a couple of bulk spools that I will not use. It has cost me to much money. It breaks to easy. Its CRAP! There should be a Class Action Lawsuit against Pure Fishing for selling that JUNK!!

???I can't say it sucks cause I haVENT used it!If you wan't some great line use SPIDER WIRE in ''STEAITH'',OR ''ORIGANIL BRAID'' in the 17/20/30 testages,if ,I know I've stated this before but,if you have a true FLIPPIN STICK use 50/65/80 pound tests,if you use a medieum or even a mediem heavy action rod I would'nt use THE 50/65/80 pounds cause it will break your rod every time you set the hook!

I am guessing that the berkley line has too much memory in it perhaps?
I know I used to fish Stren for years but switched to trilene and didn't notice the memory being as bad for my application... just wondered if this berkely transition/
vanish had the same issues.

I quit using Stren, because, Pure fishing owns Stren also.. If you want good line, Use McCoy. You'll be glad you did!!

I personally like using the transistion for small creek fishing for trout, because it helps you see the lightest nibbles

i'm all alone here by the looks of it. i love vanish.
i only use 5' to10' at a time as a leader on my fireline.
6lb fireline 4' 20lb vanish. gives the business end a bit more grunt & can still flick those light lures around with ease.

you are not alone felix...i like the 17lb vanish as a leader on a c-rig.bait falls to the bottom slower.practically invisible.

I've used Vanish the past 2 years with no problems. Just bought some transitiion that i'm gonna try out this weekend. I dont have any complaints about the line. Its probably just like anything else, certain people like certain things. Some love em' some hate em'

I like the vanish. Use it for c-rigs and throwing weightless plastics. Need the right pole, f-carbon line will shatter on real hard hook sets.
