What is the best plastic worm...
for this time of year. Or is it time for lizards? If so, what color?

It's always time for lizards ;D. Welcome to the show. As for your question, I change colors more based on water clarity than time of year. If you are tryig to match something the fish are feeding on, then use the same color of the thing they are feeding on. Of course I bet someone will say a 4" red shad worm is the best bait to use this time or any time of the year :-X Lizards |

Lizards are the way to go anytime i think. Especially now
when the bass are getting ready to spawning because they HATE lizards/salimanders pumkin,watermelon ,blue fleck color..ect but a worm will still work.If you cant get them to bite your bait try different retrieves.As far as color If its clear water,use a worm you can see light through,stained water use bright colors(on a sunny day).Muddywater dark colors black, browns. just remember this ,bright days bright colors. Cloudy days or overcast dark colors. good luck Denny |
