Is it normal?
It's only a few days before my tourny, and I was wondering if it was normal to start going through EVERYTHING in the fishing arsenal. I do it physically and mentally.

Only a few days before!?! I usually start doing that a few weeks before. Oh yeah, make sure you have a game plan for every situation you might face.

Re: Is it normal?
Trav, I think what he means is what situations you could find yourself in-sun, clouds, clear water, muddy water, rising water, falling water, etc.

Re: Is it normal?
Give me some ideas. This is only my second time fishing from a boat. And my second tourny ever. I've never had to deal with that kinda stuff. I leave tommorrow night.

Re: Is it normal?
Take a deep breath, Trav ;D. Â*What do you do when you get on the water? Â*If you are like most of us you figure out what the conditions are and fish accordingly. Â*Fishing out of a boat you do the same thing, only you can get closer to that piece of cover that is just out of casting distance It may be a tourney, but it is still just fishin'. Â*Don't put so much pressure on yourself. Â*Go out, fish, and have a good time!

Re: Is it normal?
Hey Trav,
I guess it is normal. I am joining a club this year. My first tournament is in March. I don't think about it every day, but I do think about it. I am sure I will think about it more and more as the time approaches. Right now I am trying to get things in order as far as respooling my rods and things like that. But I can't wait until my first club tournament. Good luck with yours Trav. Kevin |

I know one thing for sure, if you flop or win, it should be fun. Since you're the non-boater, don't worry about where you're gonna go, since the driver will determine that. It's only fishing, and you love it, so relax. Your kids will still love you even if you get skunked Lizards |

Re: Is it normal?
Trav,
Just remember it is fishing. It should be fun. if you relax and fish your style, you should do great. Even, if you flop it , the important part is that you had some good time on the water. Catch em up Brian |
