Any Maryland Fisherman?
I'm in the Navy and about to move to Suitland, Maryland (Prince George County). Wonder if anyone knows of any good freshwater holes around the area?

Re: Any Maryland Fisherman?
Hef,
If you don't mind driving about 45 min.'s StMary's lake in St Mary's County is a decent lake type fishing hole. I caught an 8 pounder last year fishing from the bank. I am in the NAV too stationed at PAX and don't have a boat so that's where i go...oh just about every weekend. Also we have 6 ponds onboard PAX that are designated trophy bass fishing ponds...i fish those about every day...except in the winter time as they are frozen over right now. |

Re: Any Maryland Fisherman?
Hey thanks for the great info guys. Was hoping that I wasn't heading to a place confined to tall buildings and highways as far as the eyes could see. Glad to hear there are some lakes in area.
