What is a point, what do they look like. Can you give me some examples and some advice on how to fish them. PLEASE!!!

Take a look at your favorite lake. Most of them have some land the sticks out into the water like it is "pointing" into deeper water. That is a point. Crankbaits, spinnerbaits, and Carolina rigs all work well.
