Default jon boat

hey guys
is it possible to carry a john boat in the bed of an f150? if so, what size?

Sure. I bet you could get a 12 footer to stay in there, but you could be better off with a 10 footer (or smaller, if they make one smaller) if you are gonna be actually picking the jon up and putting it in the lake.

If its a full-sized bed on the F-150, a 10 foot boat will be about even with the open tailgate. A 12-footer should ride fine if you tie it in there tight.

If its a shortbed, I wouldn't go any longer than 10.

As long as you secure it properly, you can carry a 14 footer in the bed of a full sized truck. You might want to hang a red flag or light on the end of the boat, but it won't hurt the boat. Done it plenty of times when I was younger, and not as lazy.
