Default Excalibur Fat Free Shad

Anybody else use the Excalibur (Bomber) Fat Free Shad? I bought one tonight in a purple shad color, what did yall think of it? Also, what do yall think of Zoom Super Hogs? Thanks

Ryan

Have used the Excaliber Fat Free shad alot. Caught alot of fish up to 6 lbs while using this bait. I mostly use the Fat Free Guppy in shad or chartreuse shad.

Both are good baits. The super hog is a great flipping bait or jig trailer.

they are a good bait dives 4-6 feet decent hooks next question look and see if it is a supending model ? purple shad would work in stained to slightly tinged water to near clearing..

i think bomber is the only company still making a purple colored bait...

It means that depending on such factors as line size, speed of retrieve, etc. is will get down to 8-10 feet deep when you reel it in. I'd throw it in water 6-7 feet deep and let it dig up a mud trail.

i've fished my fat free shads, depending on line diamter, in water from 8-14 foot deep so im either bouncing bottom or running in the area of the water column im getting fish in. good bait.
