Top water frog are one of the best top water weedles baits ever!!!! I love mine. I just lost it on a branch in the water a couple days ago. a fish took it under the fallen tree and got away and my best top water frog got stuck. oh well gotta go get another one. Get the classic green and red eyes.

yep, with the frogs that is. i throw them onto a nice healthy mat of hydrilla or any type of vegitation that reaches the suface. i vary the retrieves on the frog. i have gotten alot of strikes, and not so many hits. i have got about 3 bass on the frog. not alot, but sure was fun seein them hit the topwater. they will startle the hell out of you.

No, not really. Any bass that see it run across the moss will hit it. I've caught bass when i through the frog in the middle of no where. They work great!

Never used the mice, but I've been using Strike King Grass Frogs and Pop-N-Frogs for years and have caught numerous bass on them.

We had a hay day with the frog tonight, they were nailing it!
That plus the Mann's Minus 1 crome and blue,
also had several on the white spinner bait, this time I used the hammered nickel #4 willow an a hammered colorado...with a white grub trailer

I'm a big fan of fishing frogs and rats. Just find a good patch of milfoil. One of the best times to fish them is during the dog days of summer. The fish get under the patches for shade. I retrieve them with a bobbing motion. And yes they are known for catching larger than average fish. Another thing I always do is if they have any legs is cut them off. Then I take a lighter and burn the ends. They often short hit a rat with legs.
