Thats for sure on the line checking

I have fished with some guys that run the line against their lips to check cus there hands are so calous, but
I 'm not that thrilled about getting swamp fever from some of the crappy looking stuff you see floating on the lake 8)

those tikis are actually heavy so you shouldnt have a problem. i always use a spinning reel, so i dont know about a baitcaster.

JB, I can chunk Tikis with no trouble on a baitcaster. If you haven't tried them, they cast real well for their size-If you have trouble casting the Tikis try a bamboo stick. They come in the same colors and are a little bigger and heavier. Great for windy conditions.

I'll probably use the underhanded swing and loosen the brake to thumb it...windy days are hell for casting in the wind and backlashing huh

As long as you have a good baitcaster. Of course thats why its no problem for reb and me.
