Default Summertime Bass

I usually fish Percy Priest Lake here in Nashville,Tn and im having a hard time getting on bass. Going day and night with little luck. Seems when the water temp gets above 84 degrees i cant seem to find them. Any tips on lures and depths? People tell me the the creeks are not the place to go this time of yr

Hey TN, Im not too far from you in Memphis... Damn it is hot here huh. I have been having luck on culprit worms texas rigged during the day when it is hot. And topwater at dusk, like a spook, devil's horse or buzzbait. Picked up a Manns baby 1-minus yesterday and caught 5 in about 45 minutes. The color was splatter sunfish which worked well in the somewhat murky water. Good luck!

Default Im coming to Percy Preist

Im coming down your way in September to Percy Preist lake.Im planning on hitting the whole lake.In the morning on plan on going to upper part to throw
topwater buzzbait, spook and a neon green skirted spinnerbait.I will crank it if none of these work I will slow down fish laydowns with plastics, tubes and jigs.
I bought some killer deep diving cranks from Cotton Cordel I cant wait to throw
in craw pattern.I cant wait to fish this old road bed that goes right in the water.
I will use spinnerbait for this.Tubes and jigs I really havent messed with,Jb is gonna show me the ropes on the jig and tubes.
