Flippin, Their website has Pres. Bush holding a Grandt rod.Ol' Bushwacker is probably given one , look at the prices that I am posting and you will see why know one else has heard of them. They might have had me looking more interested in them if Ralph Nader was holding one at their website, but he wasn't. ;D P N J http://www.grandtrods.com/xlh70cast.htm

Never heard of 'em.

Of course most of my rods come from Wally World and cost about 15 bucks.

What do I know? They work.

Zooker you're right about that. They're priced just like GLoomis rods.

FlFireman,
How do you like those BPS rods? I see them in Bass Pro Catalog every year. They look nice and I have come very close to buying one several times. Would like some of your feed back. Thanks a bunch.

Catch em up
Brian

Too rich for my blood-I'll stick with my AllStars.

Brian, I have several BPS rods and they are real good rods. I just don't like the hump handle they come with so I don't use them.

I personally dont mind the powerhump. I have three different types of BPS rods. My bionic blade and extreme are great, have had only 1 problem-lost an eye on my oldest pole(3 years). Just bought another one and forget the designator on it. I have a total of 4 BPS rods though and have been very happy with them. Also the rod that I lost the eye on- brought it to BPS in Orlando- they gave me a new rod vs. fixing it. 8)

It had better fillet and cook the fish for me before I'm spending that much on a rod. I'll order one from JackL if I want to donate money to a good cause ;D

Grandt rods had a big display at the boat show in Indy last year- didn't buy any though. About as high as I'd go for a rod would be $250 for a Kistler Helium LTA- Best thing going from every report I've read. 8)
