Caught 30 Bass yesterday! Â*Photos

Yesterday 4 of us went fishing in my step-grandpa's pond. Â*He had a bunch of bass that he wanted moved from one pond to another. Â*It was the first time anyone had fished it.

We caught a total of 38 fish, all bass except for 8 huge bluegill. Â*All the bass were largemouth. Â*The biggest was around 4 pounds. (we didn't have a scale) but it's pictured below along with another smaller bass I caught. Â*I caught 16 total, it was an awesome day!

Huzzah! That's a lot of fish for 4 people, about 9 a person!

yeah they were hittin like crazy becaus nobody has ever fished with artificial lures there. they werehitting crankbaits the first few hoursand then spinnerbaits. the first cast a 3 pound lm crushed my crank bait.

, anytime you catch fish is a good day in my book. Just wondering why he wanted to move the fish ??? Is he stacking a new one, or re-doing the exisitng one ??? Just a suggestion, I realize you wanted pictures, but if your moving them, keep them out of the dirt, and in water as much as possible. It will help prevent bacteria form growing on them. When their mucus is removed or damaged(the outside of their scales) It makes a great place for that stuff to grow.

TJ, nice fish! Sounds like you had an awesome day! I haven't had a good day like that all year! We caught several the other day, they were all like 1 1/2 pounds. We caught a couple of perch. Not near as many as you though!
