Anytime you can fish is the best time. As for what lures, well lets see there are probably 50,000 that will work, but I usually pick one based on what conditions and water I'm fishing. It's still cold in Ohio, but warming up, so the fish will start hitting the shad and other baitfish shortly very hard. Craw type baits are good usually now. But without more info I don't think too many people can say what will work best. Give us more info ??? Lizards |

Just as an example look at what Mike just gave for info on the water he's going to fish. Â*I don't expect this kind of detail, he went above and beyond the call on this. Â*But the more info you can provide the better and more intelligent answers you'll receive..

Re: Best time to bass fish?
I live in missouri. Not as long a winter, can't really tell we've had winter this year. Haven't seen a skinny bass yet this year. ussually i've caught a few by now. Read the articals for lure choices and techniques and when (what time of year) to use them. Any time you can go fishing even if only for a couple of hours is a good time.
As the saying go's "A bad days fishing BEATS a good days work". Unless your job happens to be fishing. |
